Dealing with anti social behaviour
A whole range of things can cause neighbour problems, from minor disagreements to more serious and complicated issues. It is important that we work together to sort out the difficulties - we cannot do it without your co-operation every step of the way.
When faced with a problem with one of your neighbours, we recommend that you explain to your neighbour calmly, in a reasonable way, exactly what is causing you a problem and why - be very specific. Do not get involved in an argument. If your neighbour behaves unreasonably, walk away. Do not retaliate in any way.
Our 'Being Neighbourly' leaflet (opens new window) (196KB)
gives you lots of information on how we can work together to resolve issues.
If you contact us to report an incident of Anti Social Behaviour it will be dealt with by your Housing Manager or Support Worker. In a small number of cases a complaint may be referred to our Community Safety Team who specialise in this area. For further details on our Community Safety Team please click on the link to the left.
