Milestones in The Bromford Story
So where did the Bromford story all begin? Why was the name
Bromford chosen? When did Mick Kent join us as Chief Executive?
What year did we get our first computer? And when did our website
first go live?
The answers to these and many more questions can by found in
The
Bromford Story.
This user-friendly, informative timeline charts some of the key
milestones along a journey that has seen Bromford grow from modest
beginnings and evolve into the large organisation that we are
today.

To give it a bit of context, we've included some of the major
events that dominated the national headlines throughout the
decades, such as the BBC's screening of Ken Loach's inspirational
film about homelessness, Cathy Come Home, and the Iron
Lady coming to power in 1979.
And, of course The Bromford Story doesn't end here. We'll continue
to add to the timeline as events unfold and we head into our
50th anniversary year.
